I refuse to call this The Mondays, but it was Monday.

It’s been the kind of day that refuses to relinquish any moments for the thinking of thoughts, or the consideration of whether a thought is one to write down, or for the writing down. It’s been a hectic and depleting kind of day, where everything I did (meetings attended, applications adjudicated, students placated, buses taken, doctor consulted) was done in a register of desperation. If I thought about anything today, it was about how much I wished I were doing any of the other aspects of my job and life. That, we hope, tomorrow.
